Programmes & Training and Development
Engage in our diverse core events and activities programme and access various training and development opportunities for staff, volunteers and young people:
Whether you are a small or large organisation/company, we have lots of ways you could get involved. With local and national projects throughout North of the River Tyne, we can offer schemes that are suited to your organisation/company’s needs.
Working in collaboration with organisations/companies supports us to make a positive difference to young people’s lives through raising funds and our profile.
Attend one of our corporate fundraising events.
Companies working with us can also make a difference through direct donations, making gifts in kind that we can auction at our fundraising events, giving shares or by making us their charity of the year. This will all help us to sustain our positive work with young people. Donate resources that can support us to use either in our direct delivery sessions with young people or within our member network.
Getting your staff involved, be it at a local youth club or project or helping out at local event, it is a great way to generate team spirit and build motivation.
The strength of the NE Youth network is based purely on the commitment of volunteers.
We have a proud tradition of recruiting, retaining and supporting volunteers to make a real difference within our network. We offer a training and development programme for volunteers and have a real commitment to skills match and provide volunteers with the appropriate placements. This can be within NE Youth direct or within our member network to ensure that you get a positive volunteering experience within a supportive environment.
We are always keen to recruit new volunteers in various diverse roles and we are about to launch our new Volunteer Strategy and handbook to ensure that we can fully meet the needs and aspirations of our team of superb volunteers.
