NE Youth are launching the #MerryEveryday Christmas campaign, with the simple message behind it is that some young people/families don’t look forward to Christmas for lots of different reasons. The #MerryEveryday Christmas Campaign aims to raise money and awareness to prevent young people from being vulnerable and provide ongoing support and services to the YP of the North East – we want our members & the young people we support to be #MerryEveryday!
To support the #MerryEveryday campaign members can get busy on social media to help raise awareness. Members can also run their own Christmas themed events whether that be a party, festive dress up, sponsored walk/dance/ football match – any money raised stays with you to support your ongoing work. All we ask is for members to take photos to share on Facebook, Instragram, and Twitter. The Member best festive pic with the hashtag #MerryEveryday will win a fab prize!

Thousands of young people across the North East are dreading the run-up to Christmas. NE Youth want to focus on keeping them from being vulnerable, providing ongoing support & services that will hopefully make them feel merry every day. It’s easy to get involved. Have a festive dress-up day at work where everyone wears a jumper or hat, or a Christmas quiz, Bake Off or Secret Santa. Supporters are encouraged to take photos of their events and put them on social media with the campaign hashtag #MerryEveryday.”
