Here at NE Youth we are very proud to deliver high quality youth work directly to young people in a range of settings. More information can be found below. We are always ready to welcome new members so please do get in touch or drop in to one of our sessions to speak to a member of the team.
Our team of youth workers have had a busy year delivering centre based and detached youth work in partnership with members and VCS organisations in Newcastle, North Tyneside and Gateshead. They’ve worked with over 500 individual young people from age 8 to 25 helping them to develop their confidence, take part in activities and access new opportunities. Staff design sessions that tackle key issues for young people such as drug and alcohol use, sexual health, healthy relationships, safe internet use and money management.

We are delighted to report that our direct delivery work with young people has increased over the recent 12 month period. This is in response to increased demands for this work by our members, stakeholders and young people. Our experience and evidence from this work adds value and informs our support services to members.
