NE Youth is working in partnership with HR DEPT to deliver a half day course on the 30th January which will train you in your responsibilities as an employer and how to manage your HR function from the beginning to the end of employment. This is perfect for anyone wanting to learn their HR responsibilities, from trustees to managers or anyone in an HR role or just looking to update their HR skillset.
With tribunal fees having been scrapped, and the average award of £12,362 (max £238,216) for unfair dismissal and £23,478 (max £557,039) for sex discrimination (plus legal fees and reputation damage) the cost to your organisation of getting it wrong could be devastating.
This workshop will cover:
• Storing personnel records
• Employers liability insurance
• Inducting new starters and probationary periods
• Holiday, sickness and other absence
• Dealing with conflict and resolving problems – disciplinary, grievance and unsatisfactory performance
• Health and safety
• Family friendly
• At the end of employment
By the end of the course you will understand your key responsibilities and be able to manage important HR processes within your organisation.
We intentionally keep our groups small to enable time for discussion and questions, therefore early booking is essential.
