Ladies –  Unfortunately, we’ve not been able to bring you our annual IWD event this year, due to the pandemic, but we do still want to celebrate and shout out about all the amazing work women do, that’s why we’d like to bring you the NE Youth IWD Inspiring Women Awards 2020/21, sponsored by Vibrant Thinking. We will also be promoting a Walk & Talk weekend sponsored by Robson Laidler( 5-7th March) where we are encouraging women to take a walk with your Mum, sister, daughter or friend ( just one!) and talk about how you are feeling/ how amazing women are! AND we will of course still be running our famous IWD raffle! David Gray Solicitors are the headline sponsor for all the IWD activity.

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2021, NE Youth will be Awarding six amazing women and we want to hear from you who you think should win!
Voting is open now – the closing date is 25th February 2021 . This is about celebrating and recognising the achievements and talents of women over the previous year. We would like you to nominate the women who have gone above and beyond to change the lives of other women and girls in their communities. 2020 tested all of us but we firmly believe that it was us women that held the majority of it together – and that’s most defiantly something to shout about!
The six categories are:
·         Mega Mama
·         Fabulous Friend
·         Talented Teacher
·         Outstanding Keyworker
