Welcome to our member page!

Membership is open to all organisations in various sectors in the North East working with children and young people. We are delighted to be working with over 130 members this year, which grows year on year and becomes more diverse which in turn offers a wider offer and direct reach.  Our services are varied to meet the needs of the sector and is aimed at different people within your organisation, from staff, volunteers and of course young people. We have two membership options to suit your needs;
  • NE Connected Member (£50 per year) – as an NE Connected Member, we can offer your organisation information, advice, support, governance, funding, resources, training and development, programmes, activities, and events, as well as networking opportunities that will add value and complement your organisation and work with staff, volunteers and young people of the highest quality.
  • NE Linked Member (Free) – we also have our NE Linked Member option, which will get you linked into the network and signed up to our e-newsletter.

Programme of Activities

1,180 young people from across our member network engaged in our programme throughout 2019/2020
We have a varied programme of activities, events, and training throughout the year, for young people, youth workers and volunteers as part of your membership benefits.  Our programme offer is made up from partnership opportunities from within our membership network as well as wider sector stakeholders. If your organisation is interested in exploring any partnership opportunities to offer the network then I’d love to hear from you.
Please visit our calendar below, as well as our Programmes and Grants Page to see what activities, events and training we have coming up throughout 2021/22.

We’re here for you!

We want to ensure that our membership offer has something to suit each of our members. We do this through our varied programme of activities, events and workforce development opportunities.  We collect feedback from participants attending our programme, as well as in our annual member feedback survey and annual needs survey which is essential for us to listen, learn and reflect in order for us to shape and continuously improve our service to meet the needs so that it is fit for purpose for the sector and our members.  Being a member of NE Youth means being part of a large network of like-minded organisations across the North East. You can see a map of our member network HERE and we encourage members to support each other by sharing best practice, ideas, resources and networking opportunities through our closed member network Digi Hub and closed Facebook group.  We can also promote and share your achievements, good news stories, vacancies, and opportunities to our network, as well as far and wide through our various social media channels and monthly newsletter.
