Here at Ne Youth we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of young people. Our Direct Delivery team works hard to provide a quality service across many different youth sessions in and around Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.

In youth sessions we give young people the opportunity to discuss issues such as drug and alcohol awareness, sexual health, money management and internet safety and access information and advice. We provide activities around arts and crafts, physical activities e.g. skipping or football and we also do things like cooking and social action projects and fundraising.

Youth sessions are a place where young people can come and be themselves in a safe space away from all the drama and problems of their everyday lives and worries. A place to learn, develop and experience new things in a positive and potentially life changing way.

Young people have access to NE Youths’ programme of events, for example the Hadrian’s Wall walk and Projects of Pride Celebration Evening and activities and trips such as the Channy concert and days out to places like Exhibition Park or trampoline parks.

The Youth Work Delivery team are always developing new and innovative opportunities for young people to engage and several of our sessions are part of the Targeted Youth Support (Young in Newcastle) delivery as well as delivering our own youth sessions where needed. We also support other projects and organisations by placing experienced youth workers as delivery support in their youth sessions.

Click on the map below to find out more information about where and when our sessions are on and don’t forget to follow us on Instagram to keep updated with what we are getting up to and how you can get involved. We are always ready to welcome new young people, so please do get in touch or drop in to one of our sessions to speak to a member of the team.
