We are delighted to be shortlisted for the Tesco Community Grants scheme.
The scheme allows for Tesco shoppers to vote for causes that are close to their heart, using blue chip coins provided at the tills.
We have put forward our Kenton Youth Project, which is a youth club for 11-18 year olds based in Kenton Sports Centre every Tuesday night. The group are supported to take part in positive activities including sport, arts and crafts and cooking.
If we are first in the vote, the project will receive £1,500 in funding which will give the young people access to trusted advice and guidance from a youth worker and the chance to try new activities.
You will have the chance to vote for the youth project at any of the below stores:
