Lemington Youth Session

This is an open access session for young people aged 11-16. Young people come and make friends and take part in a variety of activities including sports, team building, smoothie making, arts and crafts, issue-based workshops, social action projects and youth voice.

Barmoor Inclusive Club

Barmoor Hub Group offers children and young people with additional needs and disabilities aged 13–24, including those with Autistic Spectrum Condition opportunities to build relationships, increase confidence, promote physical and emotional well-being and increase aspirations. We are based at Barmoor Hub which serves the communities of Ryton, Crawcrook, Clara Vale, Greenside, and the group also involves young people from the wider Gateshead area and beyond. Our youth session normally runs every Wednesday 6.30 – 8pm.

Throckley Youth Session

This is an open access session that runs twice a week for young people aged 11-16 to come, have a cup of tea, make new friends and have a safe space to be themselves. Young people get involved with a range of different activities including team building, cooking, sports, arts and crafts as well as issue-based workshops, social action projects which involve the community and youth voice.

Ponteland Youth Session

This is open to young people aged 11-17. This is a safe space for young people to hang out, have fun, meet new friends and join in with activities provided. Youth workers deliver workshops on a range of topics including healthy relationships, health and wellbeing, being safe online alongside planning projects & trips out. The young people also love a toastie and cup of tea!

Ponteland Youth Project (Detached)

Youth workers work outside on a detached basis within Ponteland on a Friday evening, providing support to young people and activities that they wish to take part in. You'll find our detached worker's usually near the leisure centre, local shops or park. During the winter months we usually provide hot chocolate to keep warm.

Howdon Youth Project

We are working in partnership with Family Gateway to deliver open access junior and senior youth club, on a Thursday and Friday night. Junior (11-14 years) 5-6.30pm, and Senior (14+) 6.30 to 8pm. Funded by Million Hours Fund. During the sessions young people can get involved in an array of activities including outdoor activities such as gardening, arts, physical activities and sports, dungeon and dragons, video games, competitions, and social action projects.
