Vaping is everywhere right now. It’s in school toilets, outside college buildings, at bus stops, at parties—you name it. And because it’s so common, it’s starting to feel “normal.” But for loads of young people, vaping has become more than a habit. It’s something they rely on when they’re stressed, anxious, or trying to fit in.

A group of amazing young people, supported by NE Youth, decided this needed to be talked about properly. So they created a powerful video sharing what vaping really feels like from a young person’s point of view. No lectures. No scary adverts. Just real experiences, real honesty, and real stories that many of us can relate to—but rarely say out loud.

Funded by the Key+ challenge, their video gives adults—teachers, youth workers, parents, and professionals—a chance to see what’s actually going on. Not from a report. Not from the news. But from the people dealing with it every day.

And they’re not stopping there.

The group is now planning to create artwork, posters, and self-help packs to support other young people who are trying to quit, cut down, or just understand what’s going on with their own vaping habits.

This is just the start.

So keep an eye out—big things are coming, and they’re being led by young people who genuinely want to make a difference.
