I mean wow, talk about youth voice being heard. The PAC toolkit was created from youth people across the North East informing professionals on how to best listen to young people’s thoughts, ideas and opinions.

How professionals can create a safe space, so young people feel comfortable and encouraged to share their mind.

How stakeholders can form relationships with the younger generation by building trust, understanding and use their power as the facilitator to transform the youth’s ideas into reality.

This booklet was created by young people for young people and is now available on the Youth Justice Hub for England and Wales, a massive thank you to the Safer Children’s Network, for allowing us to display our toolkit in a recent presentation and supporting us to put our resource on this platform. Our aim is for young people to be valued, listened to and supported according to their needs. This toolkit is a guideline to achieve this aim, the NE Youth and PAC team are grateful and hopeful with having made this digital booklet easily obtainable more young people will be understood.
