Leading North East youth development charity NE Youth are delighted to announce the appointment of two fantastic new Trustees to our Board.

Trustees have a very important role in Charites, ensuring that all Charity assets are safeguarded and all Charity operations meet the aims and objectives of the charity. All of NE Youth’s work involves giving young people new experiences and opportunities, either directly through our Youth Work & Programmes Team or indirectly through our Membership.

NE Youth are proud to have an engaged and committed Board of Trustees, and we are delighted to welcome Rachel Wilson and Abby Traynor who will support NE Youth at a strategic level, to make a positive difference in the lives of young people across the North East. Here’s what they said about joining us on our mission:

“I am thrilled to be joining the Board of Trustees at NE Youth. I am passionate about Young People in our region and I am looking forward to making a difference with this fantastic charity” – Rachel Wilson

“I’ve worked with children and young people in communities in a variety of capacities over the years and I have seen first-hand the amazing things that you can achieve when someone believes in you.  NE Youth holds that belief in young people and, like me, are passionate about seeing young people succeed, so I’m really excited to join the Board, and contribute to this important, diverse and interesting work.” – Abby Traynor

NE Youth CEO, Jon Niblo, said:

“We are delighted with the recent appointments of Abby and Rachel who will add real value to what was already a strong and engaged Board of Trustees.”
