On Saturday the 24th of September our Hadrian’s Wall challenge took place. NE Youth supported 9 youth projects with over 100 young people collectively walking sections of the iconic Hadrian’s Wall.
Each year we offer our members the chance to walk a section of Hadrian’s Wall and they all collectively do it from Carlisle to Newcastle. We had over 130 members take part in the challenge!
We were lucky enough to be donated 130 donuts from Greggs for everyone taking part in the challenge to have! There were pizzas provided by Firestone Artisan, music was kindly provided by Static Studios and Newcastle Thunder sent community coach Daniel “Bear” Gilroy to do some rugby games.
We were delighted to have Industrial Workwear as our sponsor for this event. We also want to say a big thank you to Challenge Northumberland who provided staff to coordinate the walk.
