It was a night to remember for NE Youth on Wednesday 25 June at the Delta by Marriott Hotel, Metrocentre.
Now in its 17th year, the Gateshead Awards celebrate the incredible people and organisations making a difference across the borough — and we were thrilled to be part of it.
We were honoured to be shortlisted in two categories: Voluntary or Charitable Organisation of the Year and Young Achiever of the Year (25 and under). It was especially exciting to see our brilliant Peer Action Collective (PAC) recognised for their tireless work to make Gateshead safer and more inclusive for young people.
We were absolutely delighted to be named Voluntary or Charitable Organisation of the Year! Our own Penny Rosemond and dedicated trustee Kelly Gleadow proudly accepted the award on stage.
While a double win wasn’t to be, we remain incredibly proud of our PAC team and all they’ve achieved.
