On Friday, 2nd December, Bradley Hall hosted their annual Festive Fundraiser (Bingo Bonanza) at The Fed in Gateshead; for the sole purpose of raising vital funds for 3 amazing charities – NE Youth, Marie Curie and Heel and Toe.
Over 700 guests attended the event; which kicked off at 1pm. And what an event it was! Guests were greeted to a champagne reception, followed shortly by an array of Street Food. Fuel for what was to come…… the bingo! And this wasn’t any old game of bingo, it was a ‘Bingo Loco’ game of bingo. It was packed full of energy, with epic throwback tunes, showers of confetti, outrageous performers and incredible prizes.
As well as the bingo, there was a raffle and silent auction, where fantastic prizes were up for grabs – all donated by local businesses including our friends and sponsors at The Inn Collection Group.
At various stages of the day, a running total was announced. £35,000 quickly turned into £50,000 and by the end of the evening, Bradley Hall’s target of a whopping £75,000 was achieved. An absolutely awesome achievement – a staggering £25,000 each for the three charities. This is a hugely significant amount of money for NE Youth, coming at a time where many funding streams have sadly been cut due to the cost of living crisis and local authority cuts.
NE Youth CEO, Jon Niblo said:
“It was a privilege to be invited to be one of the charity partners at such a prestigious event. Our share of the funds will help us make a huge difference with young people at such a difficult time. A massive thanks to Bradley Hall and everyone that made the event so successful.”
We want to express our enormous gratitude to Bradley Hall for including NE Youth as one of their charity partners this year. And a special thank you to Jordan Bowler and Cassie Moyse for their hard work and dedication in pulling this epic event together.
