We’re pleased to invite you to ‘Bringing Throckley Together 4’ at Throckley Sports Pavilion on Thursday 14 August!
This increasingly popular community event is back for an amazing fourth year!
This year, there will be all the favourites: climbing wall, inflatables, face painting, outdoor games, arts and crafts, stalls, smoothie bike, raffle, tombola, and much more! There will be food and refreshments as well, to fuel the fun. Throckley session’s young people and NE Youth are working hard to create new and exciting activities for everyone.
It’s just £1 entry at the gate, and we’re hoping for some great weather again! Funds raised will be used to power our year-round Throckley Youth Sessions – so your contributions will stay firmly in the community.
Last year, over 300 people came to the event and had an amazing time.

We’re always keen to get support from local businesses and would love you to engage with residents, make stronger links, and show your community spirit!
It all began when young people attending our Throckley Youth Sessions in 2022 wanted to create an event to bring the local community back together. After tough years marked by the Covid pandemic and its lockdowns, they wanted to encourage people to come together once more in a fun, safe and inclusive space.
With the aim of raising funds to provide a defibrillator for Throckley Sports Pavilion, a wonderful day was created using funding from blended sources including BBC Children in Need and UK Youth, which raised almost £800.
Two more successful Bringing Throckley Together events were held in 2023 and 2024, with local engagement and numbers increasing every year. The days were such hits, we knew there would be another in 2025.
