This July, NE Youth were proud to host once again our flagship fundraising event, the NE Youth Clay Pigeon Shoot.
On the 8th and 10th of July 2022 we hosted our Corporate Clay Pigeon Shoot and John Shallcross Memorial Shoot at the stunning Hulne Priory in Alnwick, Northumberland. The Shoot is one of our longstanding fundraising events. This year went very successfully and we have been totally overwhelmed by the support and generosity we have received this year.
Thanks to our fantastic and loyal supporters, we raised an incredible £62,000 profit.
This is an absolutely amazing achievement, allowing us to continue the crucial work we do in supporting youth organisations and young people in the North East of England. All profit raised from this event contributes to making a positive difference in the lives of all young people by funding the core costs of our services. This includes staff time, overheads and onward grants to other youth projects.
These events would not have been possible without the support and generosity of, not only our loyal supporters, but also:
- Our main sponsors Northumberland Estates and Story Homes.
- Our trap sponsors Bradley Hall Chartered Surveyors & Estate Agents, JR Holland Food Services Limited, R Thornton & Co, Lindisfarne Homes and The Inn Collection Group
- The brilliant expertise of Bywell Shooting Ground staff and John Cooper.
- Our shoot committee.
- All our volunteers who supported leading up to and during the event.
- The generous individuals and organisations that contributed donations for the raffle and auction.
- Everyone else that helped in ensuring these events were a huge success.
NE Youth really do appreciate all of the support, commitment and generosity.
