On Friday, 1st December, Bradley Hall hosted their 7th Annual Festive Fundraiser (Bingo Bonanza the sequel) back at The Fed in Gateshead, with the aim of raising vital funds for 3 amazing charities – NE Youth, Brave Hearts and The Great North Children’s Hospital Foundation.  The event was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate Bradley Hall’s 35th anniversary.

Hundreds of guests attended; which kicked off with a champagne reception on arrival.  Once everyone was seated, Neil Hart, Group CEO of Bradley Hall gave an impassioned speech and welcomed all of the Bradley Hall staff onto the stage for a well-deserved nod of recognition.  Food shortly followed, where guests were greeted to a feast of culinary delights…. Hog Roast, Gyros, Curry, Paella – the perfect fuel for the afternoon ahead!

Bingo Loco returned to entertain the crowd and, just like last year, the room was buzzing!  It was packed full with even more energy, the classic throwback tunes were back, as were the showers of confetti, outrageous performers and incredible prizes.

As well as the crazy bingo, there was a raffle and auction, where fantastic prizes were up for grabs – all donated by local businesses including the event sponsors The Inn Collection Group and Strata Homes.

At various stages of the day, a running total was announced.  £29,000 quickly turned into £44,000, and by the end of the evening, Bradley Hall’s target of a whopping £50,000 was surpassed.  Thanks to all the amazing individuals in the room, almost £54,000 was raised, to be split equally between the 3 charities.  With the current economic climate as it is, with many businesses and individuals struggling financially, it was so humbling to witness that level of money being raised.

NE Youth CEO, Jon Niblo said: “We were once again delighted to be invited as one of the three charity partners for such an incredible event. Huge thanks to everyone who supported and helped to contribute to such as amazing total.”

Thank you so much to Bradley Hall for including NE Youth again this year as one of their charity partners.  And a special thank you to Cassie Moyse and her colleagues for all their hard work and dedication in pulling off yet another epic event!
